At the Frans Banning Cocq Gracht… He is the guy on the Nachtwacht from Rembrand van Rijn. Everyone paid fl100,00 Guilders to have their face painted. When it was finished they didn’t like the painting…It was Rembrands last big asignment. Poor and mentally broken by the dead of his wifes and children he moved from what is now known as the Rembrand huis to a small apartment at the Rozengracht in Amsterdam.

The artwork that I have made for Serious Request 3FM is finished. It will be handed over for the auction by Mylene Gordinou de Gouberville, anchor woman from the NTR Program “Nieuws uit de Natuur” (“News from Nature”).
On Friday she will reveal it an bring it to the Glazen Huis in Enschede and the auction will be held at Monday the 23 th.
Broadcast will be on Friday NTR TV Ned 3 at 10.30 hrs.
A stopmotion movie of the making of the artwork will be also be broadcasted.
The Title was revealed today: Oehoe Babylove!

Research for the artwork for Serious Request offered by RTV
I am researching how I can fit portraits in airbubbles. I will get a lot of sent in baby portraits sent to NTR TV. They will become a part of the artwork. I will create a work based on emblematics of the 17 th Century. The airbulbs were symbols for life and death and related with children and sometimes cupids.

I am chosen to make a piece of art which will be offered on the 21 of December by Mylene Gordinou de Gouberville. The writer and anchor woman of the tv program: Nieuws uit de Natuur (News from Nature). I will base my work on the emblematics.
